The first in the core range of Apilus electrolysis machines, the Junior 3G is a fantastic starter machine or your first computerised machine. Let’s find out why the Junior 3G has been used for over 25 years in salons worldwide.
Before we get into the Junior 3G and all its features, let’s quickly consider why buy a computerised machine rather than a more basic or traditional unit. A computerised (or computer-controlled) electrolysis machine has allowed us to improve permanent hair removal treatments in a wide variety of ways. The key improvements are speed and accuracy. With the support of a sophisticated computer, an electrologist can apply a specific pre-determined current for an incredibly short amount of time. This makes single hairs take hundredths or even thousandths of a second to treat! As a result, treatments are faster, more effective, and infinitely more comfortable.
With all Apilus machines, HOF Beauty offers free familiarisation training. Our highly experienced in-house trainer will take you through your new machine, helping prepare you to deliver profitable permanent hair removal treatments right away.
The Junior 3G is a sophisticated machine with several modes to choose from:
Flash and Thermolysis modes operate at the super-fast 13.56MHz. Pulsed Blend and OmniBlend use a combined current, and Galvanic is pure galvanic current (also known as pure electrolysis). The Flash mode also has a 2-pulse option for targeting deep, stubborn hairs. Thanks to the computer, it is possible to treat the bulb and the bulge at once. Two short pulses are delivered down the needle while the electrologist moves the needle between the pulses from bulb to bulge. Each mode can be adjusted to change the intensity, timing, and treatment area. There are also 512 pre-existing programs to choose from.
In addition to these hair removal modalities, the Junior 3G also has extra features. It can perform tolerance and skin moisture tests, fantastic tools that support the electrologist in ensuring a comfortable and more effective treatment. Furthermore, the Junior also offers anaphoresis and cataphoresis. Cataphoresis is a highly effective way to end an electro-epilation treatment as the blood vessels constrict, calming the skin and reducing redness, as well as providing a germicidal action. Anaphoresis offers an entirely opposite effect on blood vessels, vasodilation, and is an excellent way to cleanse the skin and remove excess sebum.
Despite these sophisticated functions, the Junior is surprisingly simple to navigate. Your free familiarisation training will provide you with the tools you need to use this machine effectively and offer lucrative permanent hair removal treatments. Your machine also comes with the option to register online, allowing you to receive extra content such as marketing materials.
